World Map Photos: was our 1st quarter extra-credit bulletin board. Students brought in photos of their travels and displayed/shared their experiences with classmates. I love the diversity of experiences this board portrays.
Verb Hand Turkeys: was a day-before-Thanksgiving Spanish 1 project. Each feather represents one form of a 1st conjugation regular AR verb. We also brainstormed (in Spanish!) things we're thankful for this year.
Hand Print Globe: was a Spanish 1 project the Friday afternoon after Semester 1 final exams concluded. It is the center of our 3rd quarter extra-credit bulletin board. Students are covering the board with sticky notes describing opportunities they have to speak or hear Spanish outside of school.
Christmas Projects: letters to Santa (cartas a papá Noel) and Christmas Cards to favorite teachers (in Spanish of course!)
Restaurant Conversations: Spanish 1 and 2 students presented restaurant conversations using vocabulary and grammar learned in Chapters 5 and 2, respectively. Many students brought chips and salsa to enjoy while watching the restaurant conversations.
